HOW THE COMPANY WORKS

David Wade Fine Art Ltd. liase, as agents, with a wide network of institutions, museums, dealers, interior designers and private collectors. The company does not have a gallery and works mainly on consignment.

As the business has evolved, we have structured ourselves so that clients who are building their collections with us can benefit from a sliding scale commission structure based on the works purchased. We, unlike many art agents, do not charge additional expenses for the service that we offer.

Daily Telegraph May 5th 2003
"The art market middleman, until now a breed largely confined to London,
has also arrived in Harrogate. Last year David Wade, who spent six years
working for the leading St James's dealer Rafael Valls, set up business in the
town" . . . "He advises people on buying and selling art and looks out for paintings
for collectors" . . . "He recently sold a picture in Russia and he spends a lot of time
in London on behalf of clients who prefer not to visit the capital".

The small, discrete nature of the business allows maximum attention to be given to
both advising clients on the often daunting task of buying or selling art and crucially,
the very specific marketing of works that are consigned to the business for sale.

A full restoration and framing service is available.
